We left for our little vacation (mommy & me trip!) with Savannah being sick- runny nose and congestion. She seemed to get better after a couple days, but then it turned into more symptoms- coughing, vomiting, infected eye. Our flight to Panama on Sunday got cancelled so we went to the doctor today and she has RSV- Respiratory syncytial virus- and there is no antibiotic to help it out! So we just keep giving her lots of love- along with saline solution and kleenex- and hope she (and mom) get better soon.
We are headed back to Panama together- and although we were sick the entire trip- we had a wonderful visit. I am sad I was unable to visit with as many people as possible, but we got lots of quality time with Mimi & Poppy- and also got to visit with Grammy & Papa! We had lots of fun time together, even if we were sick the entire time! We got to learn a lot about a baby being sick, but also experience some beautiful sunshine.
Going to miss the sunshine state...
