oh, the weekend!

we have had a family 'bug' this past week.

it started with stomach pain, then a 6 hour sickness, followed by more stomach pain.

no fun.

unfortunately it was only me and scott- savannah only suffered minor vomiting, but we think it could be from her teething and not really a stomach bug.

another mishap, scott overworked his neck from extreme workout, and was at the ER for the day on thursday. the doc diagnosed him with whiplash, and he has to wear a neckbrace, take some meds and rest for atleast a week. that is going to be tough for scott, who is usually running, working out and exercising two times a day!

but we get a beautiful weekend to spend with the family, hang outside, swim in the pool, scott can watch golf, i can watch elmo with savannah.

yeah for the weekends. and let's hope we are all better by the end of it!

Happy Mother's Day!

What a wonderful day to celebrate being a mom.

Every single day is rewarding- especially with a little daughter as adorable as Savannah.

Today was extra special and she let me know.

We had a great day, from the moment she woke up with a smile on her face, to the second she went to bed.

I am so happy and blessed to be a mom, and so very thankful for my mom (mimi) and my mother in law Becky (grammy) for the continued love and encouragement they give to me.

this weekend is a holiday in panama, tomorrow is labor day.

so friday, we packed our bathing suits up and headed out of the city

to enjoy the sun and the sand.

we had a blast playing with savannah in the sand,

watching her splash like crazy in the water ,

and enjoying every minute of her sweet love.

she is getting so big, so fast!
