and has discovered pulling hair.

just from being her.

8 months.

the past week we have had a stomach flu. no fun.

doctor says it is parasites- but not sure what caused it. food or drink probably.

savannah seems to be fine, she has had no stomach issues though and continues to light up our lives with smiles and laughter.

she is now 8 months old.

which means she can now crawl.

pull herself up.

put everything and anything in her mouth.

and eat a lot more food.

happy eight months, savannah reese.

five minutes.

the first minute she wakes up,

cuddled with sally and gives me a smirk.

by the third minute, she was on the floor.

only to pull herself up again.

by the fourth minute she was telling me a story.

or singing it.

the by the fifth minute,

she was so full of smiles,

she wanted to do it all over again.

love is in the air.

we celebrated savannah's first valentine's day with a fun night out, sans savannah!

but scott surprised us both with beautiful flowers!

savannah had fun sniffing, touching and wanting to eat the roses!

mimi & poppy

We had a wonderful visit with my parents, Mimi & Poppy during their trip here the past week. Their trip was cut short because my grandma was in the hospital so they wanted to make sure she was healthy enough to leave. But she is back in the nursing home and they were able to come down.

Savannah was so happy to be with them- and she loved making funny noises with them. Mimi got huge 'ahhhs' and Poppy got raspberries blown at him! We had a fun time relaxing with them, cooking out, great dinners, visiting Veraguas, watching the Super Bowl, and just enjoying family. We had so much fun and miss them already!
