missing dad!

Scott has been gone for a week now for work.

We miss him so much!

But mom & mini have been having so much fun together,

playing, laughing, and being silly.

Dad returns Wednesday, with lots and lots of hugs!!

She's had the same bathtub since she came home from the hospital.

The ugly green tub.

It once had a newborn sling in it. Got too small.

It has a built in seat. And fits her little body so perfectly.

It is her favorite place. When she sees it, her face lights up.

So when mom introduced a different bathtub, it came as a shock.

It has taken about a week of looking at the new tub.

Sitting in it empty in her room.

Touching it. Filling it with water over and over.

And realizing that it too can be fun!

The duck tub had some cries at first, but now she likes it.

Or maybe it's just the water!

We won't use it all the time because it does not have as much room, but at least her fear of the big yellow duck tub is over.

The ugly green tub wins.

Savannah has been changing so much EVERY DAY!

She now rolls over in her crib, sits up and then pulls herself up on the crib bumper. She thinks taking a nap is play time! We have had fun watching her grow, change and explore her surroundings!

She loves playing with toys, scooting around in her walker, and most of all- chasing Toby.

She is louder than any baby we have ever heard- and is especially happy getting tickled, splashing in the water, getting into anything electronic- and again, chasing Toby!

that is 7 months in spanish.

and that is how old miss savannah reese is today.

we are so blessed to have such an incredible daughter.

everyday she changes and grows.

and everyday she laughs and giggles.

and everyday we fall more and more in love.

she loves playing with dad. getting scratched by his whiskers. and pulling his hair.

she loves seeing toby run around. and then trying to chase him.

she loves being outside. in the grass or strolling in the wagon. she is so happy outdoors.

she loves scooting around. then falling on her face. and doing it all over again.

she loves eating breakfast. and getting really messy. because she knows then she'll get a bath.

she loves peek a boo. old mcdonald. and pretty much anything that makes noise.

she loves kisses. hugs. and cuddles with mom.

she is amazing.

funny faces

Babies make the funniest faces. You can just stare at them for hours on end and get hundreds of different expressions. It is so much fun watching all of Savannah's different faces. Most of them have been out of pain, because of the two teeth coming in, but she is being such a trooper!

Savannah is approaching 7 months, and everyday changes so much.

She is cutting her first teeth- not one, but two, front bottom teeth.

They are causing her lots of pain, lots of drool, and lots of screams,

but with all of that comes lots of hugs, lots of kisses, and lots of love.

a fun week

We had such a great time with all the ladies here- they were here for 10 days and we had a blast together!

First tooth is coming in! It starting cutting through yesterday, which now explains the sleepless nights, endless amounts of drool and every single thing going in her mouth!

This will be the first of many, but yet another milestone!

YAY!

She has also started sitting up by herself and will push herself up onto her feet holding onto something! BIG GIRL!

Savannah is the light of our lives- she makes everyday so much brighter!

boat trip through the canal

The other day we went to Gamboa Resort- in the rainforest- and took a fun boat trip through the Panama Canal to Monkey Island. It was a blast! Savannah enjoyed being on the boat but didn't care for the life jacket!

We have had a great time with 'the ladies'- Maggie, Jessica, Jessica and Franki- and Savannah has loved having more girls in the house!
