mommy's day!

The 26th of October was a wonderful celebration!
Another year older, but couldn't be happier!
I celebrated with a relaxing day (facial gift from scott) and then lunch with the best dad in the world. Lots of snuggles and laughs with Savannah. Then an incredible dinner out with friends!

Last year, I had just found out I was pregnant and celebrated with friends in Costa Rica. It was so much fun, anticipating our new arrival. This year, I celebrated as a mom, and relished in the most wonderful feeling in the world. Seeing her precious face lights up my life and makes Scott & I the happiest, proudest, most loving parents.

Cheers, to being 28!
A wonderful year of wonderful memories lies ahead!

happy little family.
what a wonderful birthday.
savannah made it so much brighter!

time for solids

Savannah is now 4 months old and we are on to the next stage... introducing solid foods!
First step... oatmeal cereal. Once she gets used to that, or atleast attempts to eat some of it, we will move on to vegetables and fruits!

First day... disaster. nothing eaten. mostly worn on clothes.
Second day... improvement. small amount eaten. not as messy.
Although she may not like it, it's a big change from solely being on milk.
With many attempts, and many outfits changed, it's so much fun watching her grow!
Savannah is in for a whole new change.
Can't wait 'til she can have ice cream! :-)

something new!

Day 2:
Ready for more!

hello, beautiful!

Who ever knew waking up in a crib could be so much fun?!
Savannah has begun to wake up, then sometimes proceed to roll over.
Other times, it's just pure smiles and laughs.

trying to roll,
but the bumper is in the way!
how do i get out of here?
oh the little princess.
with one big smile.
the look to melt my heart.
anyones heart, that is!

zzz...

Even if you think that when your child will wake up later when they go to bed MUCH later than usual, it probably won't happen. They are built with internal alarm clocks, atleast the nugget is!

Wild hair do!
Who knew having lots of hair could be so much fun!?
Splashing in the pool with mommy!
Savannah's ready for the game!

time to roll!

Savannah was making noise after a short morning nap and as I went into her room, I found her awake, with her back up, in her crib. She rolled over and woke herself up! Yes, she sleeps on her stomach (she is happier that way!) and managed to roll onto her back. She was so happy when she did it though!
She also did the same for her afternoon nap, and after a short 45 minutes, was on her back again and awake. This should call for some interesting nights when she rolls over!
Every day something else changes, a new milestone occurs, and she becomes such a bigger girl. She fills the world (and my life) with so much love!

look what i did, mommy!

we love our baby girl!

She brings us such joy every minute of every day.
We are so happy, so thankful, and so in love with our beautiful baby girl!

ooh daddy brought me a flower!
hmm.. how do i eat it?!
ooh what do i see?
i love the water!
where is something i can put in my mouth?!
