ho, ho, ho!

MERRY CHRISTMAS
from the LeRoy Family in Panama!

We hope everyone had a wonderful day, because we certainly did!
Despite the fact that both Lesley & Scott are sick, we took some medicine and felt much better for a great Christmas day. We had such a memorable day, it was
Savannah's first Christmas
and she made our day so very bright and cheery.
We woke up to our little elf so happy (of course she has not gotten sick!) and we opened a few gifts, ate some cinnamon rolls (she had oatmeal!) and listened to Mannheim Steamroller.
We went to the Tatum's for a fun gift exchange and enjoyed the fun times with our friends.
We had the evening to relax, eat spaghetti dinner (beats soup for the past 3 nights!) and just be thankful for our little family.
We missed being with our friends and family in Florida... this is the first Christmas we have not been there, but maybe next year they will want to come join us here in Panama! (wink wink)
Hope that your Christmas is oh so merry!
Christmas Eve in our house.
Savannah loves her new walker.
Especially chasing Toby.
Happy, happy beautiful girl!

One happy shiny girl!
Savannah enjoyed opening gifts.
mostly just eating the paper though.
loving all of her toys!
Santa's little helper!
love my angel!
our favorite gift.
that keeps on giving.
daddy's little girl.
she makes the silliest faces.
and always melts our hearts.

tis the season

On Thursday, Dec 23, we had a company Christmas party at a hotel/water park and it was a wonderful day. It was great getting to see all of the families of the workers, watch the kids swim and enjoy the wonderful Christmas spirit! It was a fun time, many wonderful gifts handed out and made us very thankful for where we are, our friends, and our family.
We are very blessed.

Savannah had a blast!

so in love

"Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love."

I have been SO IN LOVE with Savannah since the moment I found out I was pregnant. When she was placed into my arms, I fell even harder. Now every day that goes by and I see her grow and change, I fall in love more and more. all over again.

I know that everyone that who is a mom knows you have those days. You know, the ones that you wish would just hurry by, stop all the crying so you could just get some rest. Those happen, and they are part of being a mom. But the other days, the ones that you are so filled with love and happiness, those days are incredible. Every day being a mom is truly a gift, but there are always ones that stand out as 'good days.' (all moms know what i mean!)

I had one of those oh-my-gosh-I-love-being-a-mom days and was so overwhelmed with love, happiness and joy, because the entire day all I could think about what how perfect she is. Every smile, every funny face, every dirty diaper. It was all so special. And barely even one cry, the entire day. Days like this are incredible, they are what make moms so wonderful, and what make little baby girls oh so special. I am so thankful for every day, but especially this one.

"Mother love is the fuel that enables a normal human being to do the impossible."

my little ball!
she fills my heart with so much joy!

whooped!

We had such a busy week and Savannah met a bunch of new faces and got to see some of her little friends!

Brandi & Pete and their daughter Maci stayed with us for the weekend, and although she is a year older than Savannah, it's fun to see them interact. Savannah enjoys watching Maci do all of her "big girl" activities.
Tom & Reno and their daughter Carsen came in as well from Colorado. It was great catching up with them, and so excited about their baby on the way! Savannah is going to have even another little friend!

It was great getting to celebrate Hilt's 30th birthday- a good surprise party, night out bowling, and a football bbq. It was great getting to see everyone who came in town!

Scott & Carsen on the couch.
Scott watching football.
Carsen watching the iphone!

back home!

We arrived back in Panama Tuesday night after being gone for 2.5 weeks. We had such a great time with family and friends in Florida and were so happy that so many people got to meet Savannah!

We love traveling and being on the go, but it is so nice to be back home, Savannah sleeping in her own crib, and attempting to get her back on somewhat of a regular schedule!!

We love traveling, but we love being home again, too!

This weekend we are celebrating birthdays with friends, many people coming in from costa rica! we are looking forward to a fun time!
